Complete Course in Professional Medical Transcription using MIME method of instruction – Student Edition

Full Description

Recognized by the AAMT (American Association for Medical Transcription). This course follows the American Association Medical Transcription Model Curriculum for Medical Transcription.

This in-depth course uses the most valuable and state-of-the-art training methods available today, designed to give the student the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as a Medical Transcriptionist.

Course work is presented in a modular format and focuses on medical transcription techniques. Other modules cover grammar, punctuation and spelling, and provide a structured insight into medical terminology and anatomy, as well as development of personal qualities like professionalism and ethical responsibilities.

This course uses a revolutionary and innovative new teaching process known as the MIME (Mentoring Interactive Modular Education) method of instruction, which provides students with an ever present mentoring and instructive presence, as well as an extensive array of tools and resources to ensure that they excel in their training.

MIME makes online learning easier, faster and more efficient, and allows students to advance at their own pace. Developed in conjunction with the Medical Transcription Training Institute, MIME offers instructor availability 18 hours a day, virtual classrooms, forums and chat rooms, that allow students to interact directly with each other and their instructors to get helpful advice and timely assistance.

All modules combine instruction and theory with a hands-on approach so students acquire practical experience early on. Each module is self contained and arranged so the student is fully prepared to successfully advance to the next module.

Whatever your needs, the Student Edition includes everything an MT student would require to become certified as a qualified professional.

This course from start to finish is set for a period of 6 months.
