Course Description
In the 21st Century, and its global economy, the skills of Productivity Management and Leadership Success are vitally important to an organization's longevity and success.

This course provides a proactive method of addressing issues of low employee morale, high turnover, and poor productivity/quality. This course evaluates the pros and cons of older and outdated methods of Productivity Management and proposes a new eclectic method with 3 years of proven research efficacy to back it up.

The benefits of learning this new method of personnel motivation will improve productivity, morale and quality of your product or service upon implementation. Readings will be posted on the LearningManagement system and as such there are no textbooks needed for this course.

Outcome
Upon completion, you will have the information necessary to justify abandoning older and more flawed theories and/or methods of personnel motivation in order to improve productivity, quality, and personnel morale. Participants will learn how these three factors are directly related to increased profit and decreased turnover. Participants will be able to effectively and efficiently implement Productivity Management based on the Mutual Expectation Method of Management for their business.

Assessment
In this self-directed course, evaluation of student performance will consist of successfully completing the Action Assignments in each Module of learning.

  • Defining the Scope of the Problem – You will learn how to determine internal and external problems of your organization that require solutions related to improving productivity, personnel morale, and quality of your products and/or services.
  • Motivational Success Principles – Learn the differences between motivation and enthusiasm in addition to their respective benefits and limitations for all product and service businesses.
  • Critical Analysis of Popular Theories/Methods of Motivation – Study and explore over 20 popular content and process theories/methods of motivation to determine their inherent limitations and/or failures to achieve desirable results. We will define the pros and cons of McGregor’s Theory X and Theory Y, Ouchi’s Theory Z, Six Sigma, and Herzberg’s Motivator Hygiene Theory among others.
  • Continuous Quality Improvement Organizational Structure – You will be introduced to the original CQI methods developed by Edward Deming and how this underlying organizational philosophy is conducive to successful MEMOMTM implementation.
  • MEMOM Defined– We will explore the major contributing works to the MEMOM method of personnel motivation. Differentiation between your employee’s needs, wants, and expectations will be defined. This will make up the basis for MEMOM application.
  • MEMOM Applied– You will explore the MEMOM application process in order to make it extremely efficient and effective in your organization. Part of this application success comes from negotiation skills, communication barriers, decision making skills, conflict resolution, and applying the concept of fairness that are explored in detail.
  • MEMOM Researched– Learn about actual applications of MEMOM and their results. Over 3 years of research statistics are compiled to convince you that MEMOM has real financial impact on your business.
  • MEMOM Implemented– Explore options for MEMOM implementation from department specific to organization wide. Learn the stages of organizational adoption and the decision making templates to make it both effective and efficient.
  • MEMOM Evaluated – Learn how to implement organizational specific employee-management surveys and job motivating potential scores in order to learn how to evaluate your MEMOM success. You will also be trained on what to look for regarding commonly experienced evaluation and measurement difficulties in order to avoid them.
  • Conclusions– Explore where organizational management and leadership succeeds and fails across the globe. Find out who is succeeding and how. Visualize the global marketplace and where your company fits into the picture. Finally, we will take a brief look at the global economy and where opportunities exist.
