Course Description
The CHTP Certification provides comprehensive training for technology specialists on health IT. The course begins with EHR functionality and then offers advanced training on hardware standards, site assessment, implementation, interoperability, and more. Participants also engage in hands-on workflow exercises utilizing a certified EHR application. The hands-on EHR exercises are designed to teach students the fundamentals of EHR workflow. Assessment

Students must pass a series of assessment quizzes. The quizzes are presented online culminating in an online, timed final exam. The quizzes can be taken an unlimited number of times. The final exam can be taken up to 2 times and a final grade of 80% is necessary for successful completion.
